Sacramental preparation

Sacramental preparation for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion take place within the parishes. Please contact the churches for information about the programmes or support they provide. At St. Bernadette’s we endeavour to support children during these important times on their faith journeys, by providing a lunchtime prayer group for those preparing to receive these sacraments. We also mark the occasion by attending the special masses at the different churches when children receive the Eucharist for the first time. We hold a celebratory mass for these children within school after they have each received their First Holy Communion.
