Pupil Champions Programme

The Champions Programme is where a teacher or trained teaching assistant is matched with a child who receives Pupil Premium funding. This staff member provides personal challenge, meets their pupil on a one-to-one basis every half term and checks in with their pupil while they are in school. These sessions enable children to really discuss with their Champion what they enjoy, what they are finding challenging and what help they might need with their learning. Each child meets their Champion on a regularly basis, and on a one-to-one basis every half term. As part of ‘The Champion Project’ children take part in 6 organised afternoons across the year, one each half term, which is aims to support children academically but also on a pastoral level. Activities each term range from cookery, art, team building games, creative arts and sports.

Your child could be eligible for the Pupil Premium - find out by following the link below
