THANK YOU FROM THE HUMANITAS SCHOOL

Still image for this video
Over the last few years, we have been supporting the Humanitas School in Ayensuako, Ghana. We have donated thousands of pounds, which has helped to build the primary school, the secondary school, the library and we have also helped to supply books, computer equipment and uniforms. Their new project is to ensure that they have cooks and ingredients in their newly-built kitchen so that the children have a nutritious meal each day they come to school. Huge thanks to the whole St. Bernadette's Community for your continued generosity - it is greatly appreciated!

Foodbank Donations - Harvest

Our friends from the Foodbank came today to collect the huge amount of donations that we have been collecting over the last 2 weeks. They were completely amazed and astounded by the amount of food that they had to pack up with the help of our Community Mini Vinnies. Our whole school community has shown great generosity and kindness during our Harvest collections. The van was completely packed with boxes and bags of food and the driver told us that he loves coming to our school as we always donate the most food out of all the schools in Milton Keynes! Huge thanks to all of you; we are so very grateful for your kindness.

Thank you from Humanitas

The Giving Tree

Thank you to all who supported the Giving Tree this year - thanks to your generosity , we have been able to provide so many useful items for the homeless of Milton Keynes via the Winternight Shelter and the Friday Soup Run.

The Humanitas School

We are supporting the Humanitas School in Ayensuako, southern Ghana. Each year group takes place in fund raising activities activities across the year to help the development of the school. You can find out more about Humanitas and the fabulous work they do here:  https://www.humanitascharity.org/education-matters

We receive regular updates from Humanitas school and we are developing good friendships with the pupils there. They are helping to enrich our curriculum through joint learning projects and recently we had great fun producing our own versions of the Happy Video to share with each other.
