The timings of the school day are detailed below.
A Breakfast Club and After School Care Club run throughout term time for Reception to Year 6 pupils - please ask for details from the school office. A range of additional St Bernadette's University enrichment clubs also run on 6-week blocks throughout the school year.
By September 2023, the Government requires that the school day for Reception to Year 6 Monday to Friday totals 32.5 hours. We will be increasing the length of the school day to ensure that we comply with this requirement.
Nursery/FS1
8:45 - 11:45 (Part-time 15 hours)
8:45am - 2:45pm (Full-time 30 hours)
Reception (FS2):
8:50 am - 3:00pm (30 hours, 50 mins)
Key Stage 1 (Years 1-2):
8:50 am - 3:00pm (30 hours, 50 mins)
Key Stage 2 (Years 3 - 6):
8:50 am – 3:15pm (32 hours, 5 mins)
In the morning, the school gates and classroom doors open at 8:35 to support a smooth drop-and-go system. 'Early Work' is provided for pupils on their arrival. School starts promptly at 8:50 am when the register is taken and all exterior doors will close at 8:55am. children arriving after that time must report to the school office to be signed in late by their parent/carer.
