St Bernadette's Inclusion Vision
We aim to create an environment in which pupils are inspired to reach the highest standards of academic and individual achievement from their starting points. We aim to ensure that children in our school feel included in school life, feel that they can achieve academically and feel that they belong in school. We aim for our school to be an inclusive environment, which supports and challenges students to achieve their full potential. We aim to embed a culture in which early and accurate assessment of pupils’ needs is prioritised. St Bernadette’s aims to work closely and effectively with pupils, parents, professionals and staff, to consider a range of evidence-based and effective adaptive teaching approaches in order to support the child’s progress. We aim for our children to have a sense of ‘I belong and can be successful in this school.’
